European News Pitch – Journalism Partnerships Calls 2026
Join Creative Europe Desks from across Europe for the European News Pitch, an online matchmaking and pitching event designed to support projects applying to the Creative Europe NEWS – Journalism Partnerships 2026 calls. This session helps organisations connect with new European partners and present projects that align with one of the two call topics:
Topic 1 – Journalism Partnerships: Collaborations
Supporting the economic sustainability and resilience of news media through cross-border cooperation, media transformation, trustworthy reporting, and improved skills, including the development of new business models and production standards.
Topic 2 – Journalism Partnerships: Pluralism
Strengthening media freedom, pluralism, and public-interest journalism by supporting sectors essential to democracy, such as local and regional media, community media, and investigative journalism. This topic focuses on organisations able to distribute cascading grants (support to third parties).
During the event, selected European projects will pitch to potential partners. Participants may either present a project or join the audience to discover opportunities for collaboration.
