DutchCulture Database - Call for Information

DutchCulture invites artists and cultural organisations to add their 2022 projects to the DutchCulture Database.

Each year, we ask Dutch artists and cultural organisations to send us information on the international cultural activities they participated in. This information contributes to the DutchCulture Database, a resource and network database that maps international cultural activity and informs policymakers on the state of Dutch international cultural exchange.

This year we are proud to introduce the My DC User Portal which allows Dutch artists and cultural organisations to add information directly to the DutchCulture website. We would like to invite you to send us any information on International cultural activities that you were involved in. You can do this by creating an account to manage your own database page.

Alternatively, you can fill in the information on your activities in the excel form and send it to Erin Chang. Instructions on how to fill in the excel form are in the second tab of the form.

In previous years, activities have been collected mainly through the help of our colleagues at Dutch embassies and at various cultural funds. While we also reach out to individual organisations and collect information via our own desk research, activities that are not connected to the funds or embassies are much more difficult to track. The MyDC Portal is an important step in increasing the accuracy and completeness of the information in the database.

Go to My DC User Portal to create your account.

If you have any questions regarding the portal or the database, please contact our database officer Erin Chang.
