Complete programme for Re:Creating Europe now available

On 1, 2, and 3 June 2016, artists and thinkers from all over Europe will come together in Amsterdam for Re:Creating Europe, the first Forum on European Culture.

The complete programme is now available online and ticket sales have started at cultureforum.eu.

The programme includes a nonstop, 12-hour interview marathon led by Rem Koolhaas and Luuk van Middelaar, a theatrical journey through European history with György Konrád, the presentation of the anthology Re:Thinking Europe with guest speakers Tom Holland, Philipp Blom, Stella Ghervas and Larry Siedentop, and some surprising pinnacles of contemporary European art selected by prominent curators. A special event will be the opening performance directed by the internationally acclaimed director Ivo van Hove.

The Forum, a new initiative of DutchCulture and De Balie, focuses on the strength, impact and value of art and culture for Europe. What are the cultural values that unite us? How can art and culture offer creative solutions for problems that seem to be splitting us apart? How can European artists shape the future of Europe? Performances, talks and debates, exhibitions and film screenings will be taking place all over Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Stedelijk Museum, Het Concertgebouw, DeLaMar Theater and many other cultural institutions.
