Culture Moves Europe provides mobility grants for artists and cultural professionals in all 40 Creative Europe countries. It covers the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts and visual arts. Specific measures are taken to encourage green mobility and to ensure access for everyone active in the cultural and creative field.

Funded by the European Union, Culture Moves Europe is implemented by the Goethe-Institut.

During this webinar, you can hear more about the current call for residency hosts (with a deadline 15 June). For this grant, you can apply for financial support as an organisation, or artists and cultural professionals registered as legal entities in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries. The purpose of the grant is to welcome international artists and cultural professionals at your premises to implement a residency project. The participating artists and cultural professionals must legally reside in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries that is different from the host’s country. The info session will clarify the eligibility criteria, funding rules, information about the selection process etc.

DutchCulture | TransArtists has an extensive database of over 1400 residencies spread across the world and for a variety of disciplines. During this webinar the focus will be on how to join the database (if you are not already a member), what are the criteria, things you need to think about before organising a residency, and, finally, what does it mean to be a good host.
